The Great Room, which has three walls of glass and a wraparound deck, overlooks a protected refuge; a very important estuary. It is home to wading birds, and gives you endless peaceful hours watching the ever changing water views. (bird lovers, see separate notes) On the other side of the estuary is the lovely and wide golf course view of Shorehaven Country Club. 

The open, glistening waters of Long Island Sound, Canfield Island,  Sprite Island Yacht Club, and Westport’s Saugatuck Shores are right here too. Seen from the Great room, the kitchen and the stunning Master Bedroom Suite, you don’t even have to sit up in bed to see the glorious views. They’re right there. Grab some coffee and sit on your private balcony and watch the boats coming and going from the Sprite Island launch.  

This is the one place I know of where you can see both sunrises and sunsets from either inside or outside the house!  You just have to turn your chair to follow the sun and enjoy your privacy from sunrise to sunset. “”Shore Haven” is truly inspiring.
