The original Great Captain Lighthouse was built in 1829. It is no longer in use but it is currently undergoing a major renovation to prevent further damage from the elements and nesting birds.

The first Black Rock Harbor Lighthouse was a wooden tower. built in 1808. The lighthouse was officially discontinued in 1933.

Green Ledge Light is located off the coast of Norwalk near Rowayton. It was first built in 1902 and is the "sparkplug" style. It is an active light but was automated by the coast guard and is not open to the public.

Peck Ledge Light House is located about 2 miles from Calf Pasture Beach. It was built in 1906 and is a working light and was automated by the coast gaurd

Penfield Lighthouse is said to be haunted by a former keeper who was drowned on Christmas Day in 1916.  It is located off the coast of Farifield near the mouth of Black Rock harbor. It was built in 1874.

 Stamford Harbor Ledge Lighthouse is a sparkplug shape lighthouse and was built in 1882 about 3600 feet from the shore. It belongs to sold to private party in 1955.

 A wooden lighthouse was built on the current site of the Stratford Point Lighthouse in 1822 and replaced with a cast iron towerin 1881. It was automated in 1970 and serves as coast guard housing.
